Mechanic
We at Helgeland Betong are looking for an experienced mechanic who can take responsibility for our technical maintenance. You will be the only mechanic at the company and will therefore have many challenges during a working day. You will therefore be an important resource for us. You will also get a workshop that you can make your own.
At our two departments, we have a good deal of conveyor belts, industrial machinery, and vehicles. It is therefore desirable that you have a versatile background.
Wanted qualifications
- Certificate in a mechanical subject.
- Experience from industry.
- an initiator.
- someone who helps us reach our goals.
- one who has good collaboration skills.
- independent in their work.
- someone who has computer skills.
Tasks
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Document completed maintenance tasks in our systems.
- Take ownership of our maintenance program.
- Training of employees so that they can perform maintenance tasks (operator maintenance).
- Keep order in your own area of responsibility
- Register deviations and faults.
Work on projects
- Study for investment of new technical equipment.
- Testing of condition monitoring equipment for predictive maintenance.
- Improvement work at the departments.
